Native to Dallas, TX, Sarah Jane Surprise lives in Austin, TX, and is the Lead Wedding/Event Planner & Designer for Verve Austin Event Management. For almost two decades, she has been serving the hospitality industry and planning exceptional events for her clients and "friendors" (vendors). Sarah leads one of the top luxury wedding and event planning design teams in Austin and helps people host dream events. She is an alumna of the Culinary Institute of America and holds a B.A. Degree in Hospitality Management and Associates Degree in Baking & Pastry Arts. Sarah Jane is a natural at bridging gaps, building relationships, and planning events that cement a special place in memories. Over the years, she has served as the General Manager and Director of Catering at the Marriot International, TPG Hotels & Resorts, Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, and We-Ko-Pa Resort & Conference Center. Sarah graduated among the top 5 students in her class and burst into the hospitality scene with one of the most successful wedding and event ventures in the State of Texas. Sarah Jane derives her inspiration from happy clients and seeing people enjoy their special days in special ways. She is also passionate about sharing her knowledge and is ever-ready to help young planners learn the art of planning exceptional events. In addition, Sarah is a proud mama to two beautiful children, four-year-old Grayson and eight-month-old Bennett. She relishes creating timeless memories with her loved ones, reading books, living every second to the fullest.
